RAPTOR 2025 Open Call: EIT Urban Mobility invites SMEs to tackle urban mobility challenges across Europe

EIT Urban Mobility has announced the RAPTOR 2025 open call, inviting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop solutions for urban mobility challenges identified by 14 European cities, writes Jonathan De Vriendt.

The call opened on 12 December 2024 and will close on 12 February 2025 at 17:00 CET. Selected projects will receive up to EUR 40 000 in funding, covering 67.5 % of the project budget, with an additional co-funding requirement of EUR 19 500 (32.5 %), bringing the total project budget to EUR 59 500. Projects are expected to commence in June 2025 and conclude by November 2025.

Interested SMEs are encouraged to review the specific city challenges and submit their proposals through the designated platform. Detailed guidelines and application procedures are available on the official website.

The RAPTOR programme aims to accelerate the implementation of urban mobility innovations by fostering collaboration between cities and SMEs. It addresses specific challenges to enhance mobility and improve the quality of urban life across Europe.
