Beirut resident returning home: ‘Everything was gone’

With a ceasefire deal now in place, many residents in southern Lebanon no longer have homes to return to.

One 25-year-old, Rayane Salman, told the BBC’s Lina Sinjab how she and her parents left everything in their home before it was destroyed in an Israeli air strike.

“My parents spent all their lives in this house, and we did as well,” she says. “Then in one night, it is all gone.”
