Construction giant collapses putting 2,400 jobs at risk

An international construction group has filed for administration in the UK, with thousands of jobs at risk.

About 2,400 jobs are at risk across the country at ISG, which has a large office in Stoke Gifford and built UWE’s Bristol Business School.

EY confirmed to the BBC on Friday it had been appointed as joint administrators.

Apple, Barclays and Google are among ISG’s private sector clients in the UK.
